Just Stuff
I know it's been a minute, and I apologize, but I've been a busy lady.
I haven't logged in to check comments left either, so I was amazed at the number of inquiries I received from people asking me about the diet and lifestyle changes. I thought that now would be a good time to share somethings with you, as I'm a believer in helping others in any way that I can.
Changing eating habits:
I can tell you that before I started changing anything, the first thing that I had to do was cleanse my system. While there are many ways to do that, I chose to do this via colon, kidney, liver, and parasite cleansing, and vegetable and fruit juice consumtion. In other words, I was on a liquid diet. It's not as bad as it sounds, and I'm going to be honest, I wasn't hungry. I drank alot of tea and water, took the cleansing pills, and filled up on homemade fruit and vegetable juices. I lost 12 pounds in the first 7 days of this. The juices consisted of putting oranges, lemons, apples, grapefruits and pineapples through a juicer. I included green vegetable poweder in them. I also had to juice kales, cucumbers, beets, radishes, and celery. This allowed me to slowly incorporate organic and natural foods into my diet. After being on a liquid diet, you can't just up and start eating whatever you want, you have to ween back to solid foods. By this point, you've rid sugar, carbs, fat, and red meat from your diet. Introduce these back too quickly, and you could experience pain and system shock. I drink two tablespoons of vinegar in 8 oz. of water three times a day, I keep a supply of Chamomille, Peppermint, and Herbal Tea around.
Skin Care:
During this time, I chose to abandon commercial, mass produced skin cleaners and soaps. I now uses African Black soaps for skin cleaning (the absolute best is DuDu Osun, it works immediately, cleans deeply, and leaves your skin feeling FABULOUS!!). For moieterizing, I use natural, unrefined shea butter (occasionally, I will use a natural, liquid shea butter lotion, but it must be organic, and made from a shea calabash.....Sunaroma is the best). My skin is clearing up fast, and beautifully, and i'm so damned soft and silky feeling, I can't stop touching myself LOL. I finalize with pure Jojoba or Tea Tree oil on the skin. I do not wear makeup, as I believe in natural beauty, but I might put some shea on the lips to be soft and kissable. I use organic toothpastes and deoderants. And my hair is natural (in locks though).
I have to go right now, but I'll be back.
